Air Gear is an anime featuring Minami Itsuki "Ikki", his friends and the latest trend Air Trecks.
Ikki is a student and the leader of "East Side Gunz," a youth gang. After being beat up and humiliated by a Storm Rider gang, Skull Saders, Ikki discovers a secret from the Noyamano sisters that will allow him revenge - a high-tech self-powered rollerblades called Air Trecks.
Air Trecks allows its users amazing speed and agility. He steals a pair of Air Trecks, or AT, and got his vengeance from the Skull Saders. But Ikki's adventure doesn't stop there, as delved in deeper the world of Air Trecks.
